Waterproof Inkjet Printable DVD-R Media
With the new waterproof inkjet technology used by Taiyo Yuden WaterShield, Moser Baer Waterproof, and Imation AquaGuard DVD-R you can create beautiful glossy & waterproof DVD discs from any inkjet printer. The discs you'll create with this waterproof inkjet media will look fantastic. Especially if you are using high resolution artwork and hi-res printer. It is comparable to printing on glossy photo paper as opposed to regular paper. The glossy finish also increases the contrast of printed colors which makes dark colors look deeper and bright colors more vibrant. Unlike the surface of normal inkjet printable DVD-R, Taiyo Yuden WaterShield, Moser Baer Waterproof, and Imation AquaGuard surfaces have a glossy finish and they are completely water resistant. We tested Taiyo Yuden WaterShield DVD-R by running water from a tap on the surface of the DVD immediately after it was printed. The ink simply doesn’t bleed.
